Why hire a JDG student?

  • JDG students receive job readiness classroom and practical training.  Curriculum topics include:  Teamwork, Conflict Resolution, Professional Ethics, Time Management, Creative and Critical Thinking.  This training prepares JDG students for the world of work.
  • Job Specialists and Career Placement Advisors assess students' job readiness competency prior to assisting students with a job search and before sharing any hiring information.
  • Job Specialists and Career Specialists provide follow-up services to employed students and employers - even to those students who have graduated.  Students have a relationship with their Specialist and do not wish to disappoint them with poor job performance.

  JDG can recommend applicants for many different levels of employment:

  • Recent high school graduates ready for full-time, permanent employment.
  • Mature students available for full-time, temporary summer employment.
  • Current students available for part-time evening and weekend work.
  • Young students available for summer subsidized training at public agencies.
